CooperÖstlund is a family-built business founded in 2006. The senior team, along with founders Stuart and Johan boast in excess of 160 years within the energy sector.
Stuart Cooper
Stuart Cooper 28 years’ experience in the energy sector From the Royal Signals and REME to the commercial waste disposal and treatment sectors, Stuart has had a varied engineering background, progressing through senior management roles. Prior to founding CooperÖstlund with Johan Östlund in 2006, Stuart was heading a large service team providing nationwide coverage. Now working on business development, Stuart ensures that the business is able to provide innovative solutions for new and existing clients.
Johan Östlund
Johan Östlund 38 years’ experience in the Energy Sector Having completed his apprenticeship with ABB, Johan quickly moved to Chief Field Engineer leading international teams, Johan was responsible for the quality and on time completion of outages in power plants serving over 70 countries from gas turbine to nuclear generation. He works closely with CooperÖstlund’s operation, technical and commercial teams, delivering projects from initial planning through to commissioning. Johan is a Swedish national who is also fluent in English, German and Swiss German.
